Eugene Joseph Grabowski

Eugene Joseph Grabowski (Grady) of Springdale passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the age of 96. He was the beloved husband to the late Betty (Granish) Grabowski for 69 years. The youngest brother of the late Walter, Henry and Fritz Grabowski. The son of the late Walter and Laura Grabowski. He was retired from Ingalls Ironworks, Verona, Pa. In his younger days he enjoyed fishing, gardening and golfing. He was a big fan of both the Penguins and Steelers. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving daughters Laura (Victor) Rich of Canton, Oh and Eugenia (Jeannie) Painter of Sarver. His grandson Aaron (Rachel) Rich along with great granddaughters Lila and Abby Rich of Bath, Oh. His sister-in-law Thelma (Granish) Hanchar along with numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Victory, Harwick, Pa on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 10 am with visitation 1 hour prior to mass at Jarvie Funeral Home, Pittsburgh St, Springdale, PA. A special Thank You to the staff at Concordia Personal Care (Bachmann Hall) for all their caring and kindness. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to your favorite charity.
