Thomas F. Winklmann

On Monday, March 25, Thomas F. Winklmann, 71, peacefully passed on to greener pastures. He was born in 1952 to George A. Winklmann, Sr. and Frances J. (Casavalle) Winklmann. He graduated from Penn Hills High School and was much loved by his brothers and sisters through good times and bad. He enjoyed reading his bible, devising dad jokes, and always seemed to have a good word for everyone he met. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George A. Winklmann, , Jr. (Dolores, deceased), and a sister, Elizabeth. He is survived by siblings William (Hazel) Winklmann of Sun City Center FL, Marilyn Damico (Frank, deceased) of Summerville SC, John (Patricia) Winklmann of Healy AK, Robert (Maria) Winklmann of Plum Borough, Rosemary (Tom) Borella of The Villages FL, and Frances Winklmann of Pittsburgh, along  with numerous nieces and nephews. Family and Friends received Friday April 5 from 4-7 pm at the Charles B. Springdale Funeral Home Inc. 801 Pittsburgh Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday morning at 10 am in Guardian Angels Parish Our Lady of Victory Church 1319 Low Grade Road Harwick. Everyone please meet at church. Burial to follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery Penn Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) of Southwestern Pa.
