Charles G."Chuck"Rolniak

Charles G. "Chuck" Rolniak, 54, of Springdale, went home to Jesus after a long struggle with multiple medical problems on Thursday April 28, 2016 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford. He was born May 11, 1961 in New Kensington to the late Walter C. & Florence L. Blangger Rolniak. A lifelong resident of Springdale he worked as a laborer with Shick Corp. A member of St. Alphonsus R.C. Church in Springdale, St. Valadmir Prayer Group, Knights of Columbus, and was a former Springdale volunteer fire fighter & EMT. Chuck was an avid hunter, fisherman, enjoyed camping and being in nature. A Civil War buff, he also enjoyed his animal companions Casey, Abby & Brandy. Surviving are his two sisters; Susan (Joseph) St. John and Rosemary (Daniel) Pfaff, Nephew Brandon (Corrine) Pfaff, and nieces Brittany (Tim) Busch, Rachel Pfaff. Step Brother Alan Soltis, Step Sister Kathleen (James) Dahl, and brother by choice Gary (Jill) Bayne and many cousins. Preceded in death by his parents and Step Mother Bernice Soltis Rolniak. Family will receive friends 2-8 pm Sunday May 1, 2016 in SPRINGDALE at the Charles B. Jarvie Funeral Home Inc. 801 Pittsburgh Street. The family will have a eulogy at 7 pm in the funeral home. Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday May 2, 2016 at 11 am in St. Alphonsus Church by the Rev. Kenneth Kezmarsky officiating with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Lower Burrell.
